Small Business Saturday

We were tasked with featuring local, small, women-owned businesses during the month of November for Small Business Saturday. These businesses needed a way to stand out and convey their unique offerings, all while connecting with a supportive local community.

Inspired by the sense of pride and support within the Baltimore small business community, we designed a template that features each business’s distinct personality while still maintaining a cohesive look across the entire carousel.

This final design is so effective because it balances brand consistency with the individuality of each featured business. By presenting concise snapshots of who they are and what they offer, we enable potential customers to quickly grasp each business’s essence. The swipe-friendly carousel format encourages higher engagement, and clear calls to action motivate viewers to visit, shop, and share—helping these small businesses thrive.

Results from the quarter this template was put into use showed a jump in Instagram views by 647% and Facebook interactions by 105%. It’s clear our approach is resonating with audiences and boosting brand visibility.
